Key Responsibilities:

Network Infrastructure Management:

Configure and maintain switches, routers, and firewalls.
Manage DNS, DHCP, and wireless networks.
Ensure network security and uptime.

Server and Systems Administration:

Manage Windows desktops and servers.
Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, and WSUS.
Oversee patch management and antivirus solutions.
Maintain Hyper-V and Failover Cluster Manager.
Handle Exchange (on-premises and online), Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint.

Data Security and Disaster Recovery:

Implement and manage data security measures including EDR, NDR, and phishing protection.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery tools and processes.

Second-Tier User Support and Training:

Provide second-tier support for IT issues.
Conduct user training sessions to enhance IT skills and security awareness.

Linux and Open Source Tools:

Administer Ubuntu Linux servers and related tools.
Manage PBX, Docker, Ansible, NetBox, and CUPS.
Develop and maintain scripts using Python and Bash.
Utilize Grafana for monitoring and analytics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
One or more related Microsoft Azure Certifications
3+ years of experience in network and systems administration.
3+ years managing Windows desktops and servers.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policies.
Experience with patch management, WSUS, PDQ,
Experience with network hardware & technologies including DNS, DHCP, WiFi, etc.
Expertise in data security, MFA, EDR, NDR, and phishing protection.
Experience with Hyper-V, Failover Cluster Manager, systems & data backup strategies & management, and disaster recovery tools.
Solid experience with Exchange, Microsoft 365, Teams, & SharePoint.
Competence in administering Ubuntu Linux and other open-source tools and platforms including FreePBX, Docker, Ansible, NetBox, CUPS, & Grafana.
Strong skills and experience with PowerShell, Bash, PHP, & Python.

Sales Account Manager – Fundraising Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Management:

Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone in a timely manner.
Maintain and update customer records in our CRM system accurately

Administrative Tasks:

Manage daily administrative tasks such as data entry and order processing.
Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Assist in preparing reports and presentations.

Sales and Marketing Strategy:

Develop and implement creative ideas to boost sales for our fundraisers.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute campaigns.

Dispatcher

Full Time position available in Chilliwack, BC

The Opportunity

Our team is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Dispatcher to join our BC Logistics Team. This role is crucial, as many departments rely on its execution, requiring you to plan ahead and be very organized. You will ensure that all orders and inter-company transfers are completed and delivered in a timely and efficient manner throughout the year. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing a team professionally, ensuring they are both efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

Driver Managements

Manage driver workload and hours during busy and slow season
- Arranging alternative work during the slower months
Provide clear and informal updates to drivers about any changes they need to know while on the road
- Using Key performance indicators, provide feedback to the driver on their work ethics
Ability to manage and communicate with a large team in a professional manner
Lead monthly driver meetings with updates and forecast of next few weeks ahead
Evaluate all drivers on performance: delivery times, availability, truck cleanliness, cart return rate, customer relations, using the TT and app, etc.
Participate in annual driver performance evaluations/wage reviews
Set expectations, disciplinary guidelines and enforce them
Collaborate with the Logistics Manager on recruiting and managing driver employment, including full-time and seasonal positions

Dispatch

Assigning drivers to routes and work with Logistics Coordinator for any 3rd party needs
Ensure that product gets delivered on schedule out of both BC and AB warehouses
Anticipate and report any delays to appropriate parties (fundraising, sales)
Address and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation of goods
Work with Logistics Manager/Fleet Controller in the cases of any vehicle incidents or product damages during transport or delivery
Plan ahead, and coordinate workdays for the drivers during the slow period
Monitor the locations and status of 5-tons and trailers using our Fleet tracking system
Motivated to work longer hours during the busy season

Inter-company Coordination and Pick Ups

Make sure all planting/transfer orders are sent to proper greenhouses from planting warehouses
Arrange for product/supplies to be brought back from the different locations in an efficient and timely manner
Ensure SAWP works are provided with daily transport to work
- Organizing transportation for workers to the airport, pick up and drop off
Working with operations to anticipate and plan for any request that might arise
Arrange pickups, including cuttings at the airport, indoor products from growers, and orders from departments such as maintenance and IT
Work closely with logistics assistant to ensure empty carts are cleaned up from stores in a timely and efficient manner

Fuel Reporting

Review fuel purchases from all card locks
Keep track of the physical fuel cards and update as needed
Monitor fuel card usage to confirm that the correct fuel is being used (marked vs clear)
- Make logistics manager aware of discrepancies
Monitor fuel efficiency reports which are compiled of the drivers using the DeVry fuel app and viewed on the DeVry intranet page
Prepare quarterly reports for inter jurisdictional fuel taxes (IFTA)

Fleet Management

Coordinate with maintenance that all trucks and trailers are in good and safe condition when they are needed
Ensure drivers are reporting any damage or maintenance that is required after each trip
Follow up with maintenance if requests are not dealt with in a timely manner
Follow through with any incidents involving the driver/carrier of any structural damage on any of the trucks and trailers

Safety / Cleanliness

Responsible for making sure drivers keep a professional dress and appearance

Qualifications:

Prior experience in dispatching, or as a deliver driver or a related field or equivalent experience
Exceptional Leadership and communications skills with ability to build and motivate teams
A positive can-do attitude is critical to the success of this position
A continuous desire to improve every aspect of the business
Ability to problem solve quickly and efficiently
Strong ability to adapt to change

Compensation

The wage ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 and will be determined based on your expertise and experience.

We are looking for an energetic individual who has an exceptional eye for detail, can work well with others, and is an excellent organizer. This role is mainly ‘hands-on’ and will involve taking direction from the grower to ensure high quality plants are produced at our facilities.

The ideal candidate has some flexibility with hours due to volume changes during peak and non-peak periods. Regular hours are 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Some weekend work will be required during peak times.

Key Responsibilities:

Take all necessary steps to grow the best quality plants for all seasons
Monitor and inspect plants, keeping them pest free
Look after applying the correct pest control treatments
Work closely with the Grower to ensure products are grown according to the spec, and following the pre-determined shipping schedule
Ensure proper product placement in the greenhouse
Grow in accordance to CFIA standards

Qualifications:

Ability to work extended hours as required by the season
Willing to work Saturdays and evenings if required by workload

The ideal candidate has some flexibility with hours due to volume changes during peak and non-peak periods. Regular hours are 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Some Saturday work will be required during peak times.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the team leader to oversee all tasks for one of our growing facilities
Plan, lead, organize & control (PLOC)
Work with the location grower to ensure tasks are completed on time and in an efficient manner
